Susan Kostrzewa wears several hats, including speaking at industry conferences globally, contributing to publications like James Suckling, Food & Wine and Wine Business Monthly, sitting on the board of the women’s hospitality non-profit Les Dames D’Escoffier New York and running her wine, food and travel content consulting business, Resplendent Ink. Her collaboration as cohost on Gunnell Innovation international wine and food tours for consumers has taken her to Greece, Italy and beyond with hundreds of travelers.
Susan brings a unique perspective on northern Michigan wines: she grew up in Traverse City and returns frequently to visit the Traverse Wine Coast – and her family. Kostrzewa has decades of experience in the travel, lifestyle, wine and food content realms.
The former Editor-in-Chief of Wine Enthusiast, she has won numerous journalistic awards including Folio’s Changemaker of the Year in 2018. Susan’s commitment to attracting age- and gender-diverse audiences, making wine more fun and supporting sustainability efforts in the wine world continue to drive her projects and collaborations. She has been the editor of several print and online magazines in the wine and food business, and has traveled globally as a journalist covering travel and culture topics as well, many focused-on wine, spirits, and history.
Susan lives in Connecticut in the Greater Metro New York City area.
