Dog Beaches

Digging in the sand, chasing down seagulls, playing fetch and cooling down with a splash in the water… sounds like a great day for you and your dog at the beach!  Pack lots of water and snacks (for both of you) and head out to one of the dog friendly beaches and parks in the area. 

Beaches in the area where your travel buddy is welcome include Esch Beach (aka Otter Creek) and Peterson Beach, both located in the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. 

Please remember to keep your dog on a leash and follow all park guidelines.
