While there are breweries located outside of town on both peninsulas as well as Elk Rapids, a majority of breweries are located right here in Traverse City! Plan a brewery crawl – why not?

Traverse City has a flourishing craft brewing and distillery scene, it placed fourth among the top small-town beer scenes in the 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards. Come by in November for Traverse City Beer Week, where locals and tourists alike can celebrate the hard work of passionate brewmasters.

There are many brewery options right downtown and within walking distance. While some are located a bit further and require driving through scenic countryside, you can easily plan your next brewery crawl right in downtown Traverse City.
