Dynamic Variation:

Spring Events In Traverse City

Spring. It’s the perfect time to shake off the winter cobwebs and start planning an escape to Traverse City. Visit for a weekend or plan a week-long vacation -- either way you will find a variety of activities to take part in.

Throughout April and May you will find a diverse selection of things to do. Plan your visit around one of your favorite races and tackle the course virtually. The Bayshore races are one of our suggestions. Or head over to Cyrstal Mountain in Benzie county where you can race the North Mitten Marathon, half marathon, 10K or 5K.

If nature is calling, there are always plenty of hiking, outdoors, and ecotourism events that will get you out into the crisp Spring air. Be sure to check the event slider below for a peek at upcoming nature-based adventures in the area.

May is Michigan wine month, so naturally, we celebrate during Traverse City Uncorked at all our region's wineries on Old Mission Peninsula and in Leelanau County. This year’s event features a self-guided tour powered by a digital passport valid throughout the month of May.
