Chefs Jonathan Dayton and Stephanie Lee Wiitala are a husband-and-wife team who own and operate S2S Sugar 2 Salt. Their restaurant and catering kitchen is located in the beautifully renovated historic Village at Grand Traverse Commons. They are best known for their mission to support their hometown community by purchasing locally grown, produced, and in-season ingredients from Michigan farms and artisans. They are dedicated to an innovative and fresh approach to cooking that is featured on all their restaurant menus, and catering projects. Jonathan and Stephanie are also avid gardeners who grow many of the ingredients highlighted in their recipes, showcasing the very best of Northern Michigan agriculture in every creation.
