Jim Berger is the co-founder and former CEO of High Noon Entertainment, one of the most prolific television studios in the USA, and known for its slate of highly-rated series including HGTV’s Fixer Upper, Food Network’s Unwrapped, TLC’s Cake Boss, Discovery Channel’s Dude You’re Screwed, and Animal Planet’s Emergency Vets.
Over a nearly thirty-year period, Jim and his teams have created and produced more than 500 television series and specials for networks including Netflix, Amazon Prime, Discovery, HGTV, Food, Animal Planet, History, VH1, MTV and Travel Channel. In the food genre alone, High Noon has created more than sixty series, totaling more than 800 episodes, with chefs, bakers, and celebrities including Bobby Flay, Tyler Florence, Rachel Ray, Joanna Gaines, Ayesha Curry, Guy Fieri, Ming Tsai and Buddy Valastro. In addition, Jim has developed pitches with celebrities ranging from Eva Longoria to Jimmy Fallon.
Jim co-founded High Noon in 1997. He orchestrated its sale to British broadcaster ITV in 2013 and continued to lead High Noon until 2022. ITV is one of the world’s largest broadcasters and content creators, with a slate including Hell’s Kitchen, Come Dine with Me, Alone, and Love Island. Today, Jim is Principal at Aspen Mountain Media, a consulting service for entertainment content creators and as well as streamers, broadcast and cable networks.
