Anthony Lombardo is the chef and co-owner of SheWolf Pastificio & Bar in Detroit, a love letter to Roman cuisine that earned the title of Hour Detroit Restaurant of the Year in 2020. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Lombardo honed his craft in kitchens across Italy, Washington D.C., and Michigan — including time spent as a butcher in the Piedmont region of Italy, an experience that deeply shaped his approach to cooking. A two-time James Beard Award semifinalist for Best Chef: Great Lakes, Lombardo recently opened Medusa Cucina Siciliana, a boldly flavored exploration of Sicily's rich and layered culinary heritage, just steps from SheWolf in Detroit's Midtown.
