Comedians
Headlining the 2026 Traverse City Comedy Fest is Gary Gulman, one of the country’s most acclaimed touring comedians known for his thoughtful storytelling and five stand-up specials, including the HBO hit The Great Depresh. Joining the lineup is Roy Wood Jr., an Emmy-nominated comedian and former correspondent on The Daily Show who also headlined the White House Correspondents' Dinner in 2023.
The festival kicks off with a special co-headlining show featuring Megan Stalter of the hit series Hacks and Sarah Sherman from Saturday Night Live, bringing their bold and offbeat comedic styles to the stage. Rounding out the lineup is Joe DeVito, a fan favorite known for his sharp timing, appearances on The Late Late Show and Gutfeld!, and his popular Dry Bar Comedy special.
Venues
A great comedy show isn’t complete without a great venue, and luckily, Traverse City Comedy Fest will feature seven houses of comedy that each offer their own unique atmosphere. The City Opera House is one of 48 opera houses built in Michigan in the 19th and early 20th centuries, while Traverse City Comedy Club is a local staple for standup and comedy headliners.
Hotel Indigo stands proudly in the heart of downtown Traverse City, overlooking Grand Traverse Bay, and The Little Fleet is a local food truck haven.
