The South Long Lake Forest Natural Area is a 228 acre parcel accessed off South Long Lake Road, where there is a parking lot and an information station. Established trails are well marked from this entrance. You can also access the Natural Area off Bass Lake Road onto Luhr's Trail. There is no designated parking at this entrance.
