Good Harbor Vineyards was the fourth winery established on the Leelanau Peninsula in 1980. The Simpson family has been growing fruit on the Leelanau Peinsula for three generations. They started in the cherry industry in the 1950s and then moved into wine grapes in the late 1970s. Good Habor Vineyards continues to be a family owned and operated winery producing high quality, affordable Michigan grown and produced wines.
