    A Community Curated Exhibit
    Presented by the Leelanau Historical Society Museum.

    This exhibit honors the sense of community, culture, and history surrounding Sugar Loaf mountain in Leelanau County, MI (1944-2000). Sugar Loaf, A Retrospective showcases the fascination and early uses of this geographical feature, dating back many generations. The long history and nostalgia of the hill is represented by artifacts, memorabilia, and memories donated or loaned by community members.
