About
Join the Manistee Audubon chapter for a walk along the universally accessible boardwalk at the Arcadia Marsh Nature Preserve! Volunteer leader Brian Allen will highlight the many bird species–including songbirds, shorebirds, wading birds, and raptors–that can be viewed from the boardwalk at this time of the year.
The Basics
The Arcadia Marsh is one of the most beautiful and diverse nature preserves under GTRLC’s care. The universally accessible boardwalk allows users of all abilities to enjoy this iconic property and experience the unique flora and fauna that call this place home. This will be a relatively easy walk on flat, even terrain.
Before the hike, feel free to check out our Arcadia Marsh Bird and Botanical Guide for a preview of the species we’ll be on the lookout for.
