3. Traverse City Food & Wine
August 20 – 24
Foodies and wine enthusiasts rejoice! The Traverse City Food & Wine is a multi-day event that showcases the region's rich agricultural heritage. Attendees can enjoy tastings from over 100 local wines and craft beverages, culinary demonstrations by renowned chefs, and unique experiences like goat yoga and farm-to-table dinners.
4. International Fireworks Championship
September 5 – 6
Experience a dazzling display of pyrotechnics at the International Fireworks Championship. Held at Turtle Creek Stadium, this event features teams from around the world competing to light up the night sky with their best fireworks shows. 5. Traverse City Horse Shows

Spanning over 13 weeks, this event features Olympic-level show jumping competitions, including the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup Qualifier and the American Gold Cup.
