Hawk’s Eye Golf Resort

At first glance, Hawk’s Eye Golf Resort may seem like a premier Northern Michigan resort catering specifically to golfers, and you wouldn’t be entirely wrong. Hawk’s Eye Golf Resort has plenty to offer golfers looking for an exceptional “Up North” experience.  Its 18, well-manicured holes feature a variety of elevations, speedy greens, and post-card worthy views, making play both beautiful and challenging.

Look past the amazing scenery and you’ll discover a resort that offers so much more than golf. For starters, the resort has a wide array of accommodations, catering to everyone from couples seeking a romantic getaway to wedding parties and large corporate groups. “When it comes to accommodations, we’re all about options,” says Vonda Manga, Director of Lodging. “We offer everything from comfortable, economical singles to 5000-square foot. houses that lodge 20 guests. We have condos on the area’s top golf courses, like Shanty Creek and The Chief. We have spacious, waterfront homes on Torch Lake. Whatever you’re looking for in an Up-North getaway, we have it…at virtually every price point too.”

For all its many and varied accommodations, perhaps the resort’s biggest draw is its central location to all that Northern Michigan has to offer. “We’re 45 minutes from Traverse City” states Manga. “We often serve as a launching point for families day tripping to Mackinac Island, couples going on wine tours, groups kayaking the Chain of Lakes…you name it. The possibilities are wide open.”

Despite the resort’s size and considerable offerings, it still places a high priority on attentive, personal service. “It’s all about making every guest feel welcome,” states Manga. “We want each person to have a positive experience they’ll remember for years to come.” Perhaps that’s why so many guests come back, year after year.

“We had a wedding party up here last year that booked 15 units…a good-sized party,” Manga explains.  “We worked with them on all their arrangements. They had such a good time, they came back to celebrate their one-year anniversary. That’s pretty special.”
