Area Seniors, Inc. (ASI) formed in 1994 and became a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization in 1995 interested in promoting the well-being of our community members in Antrim County. The goal of building a Senior Center in Bellaire was realized in 1997. ASI maintained the Senior Center for 12 years through fund-raising and donations. In October 2009 ASI worked with the townships to assume the responsibility for maintaining the Senior Center in order to pursue new avenues for senior programs and activities.  The Senior Center was turned into C.O.A. (Commission on Aging).

As of January 1, 2010 ASI released from the COA Senior Center which then became tax-payer-funded. ASI maintained ownership of the property behind the COA Senior Center and built the pole barns, pavilion, Community Center and Park and continues to run as a 501(c)3 NON-PROFIT organization. queen sheets

We rely on revenues from our summer Yard Sales, Bellaire Farmers Market vendor fees, Community Center rentals, memberships, and donations in order to continue providing programs and events for the communities of Antrim County!
