Amber Sands Resort

Amber Sands Resort is a seasonal vacation resort located on the sunset (east) side with 500 feet on South Lake Leelanau. Our resort is 12 miles northwest of Traverse City. We have six housekeeping units (cottages). The resort opened in 1951 and has been recognized to be the 16th oldest continually operating business in Leelanau County. Cottages can be rented on a nightly or weekly basis.
