The Father Fred Foundation

The Father Fred Foundation is a grassroots charity that assists our neighbors in need with a wide variety of resources such as food, clothing, household goods, furniture and financial aid. We do not accept state or federal aid. Our programs are completely funded by the generosity of the community. This year we are celebrating 30 years of caring.

We serve five local counties including Antrim, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Kalkaska. We welcome all individuals. Every donation makes a difference.

Meet the Athlete

Julie has been competing in triathlon’s since 1988. She is the mother of four children and enjoys an active lifestyle. Julie believes that training and competing in organized races has taught her the power of resilience, a strength that helps her face the many challenges in life. The Father Fred Foundation is pleased to have her represent them, and raise awareness for how they help their neighbors in need.
