Winter Snowshoe Tour at Michigan Legacy Art Park

    Join Michigan Legacy Art Park at 10:00 AM for an invigorating art tour! Enjoy an educational snowshoe with Executive Director Angie Quinn as she leads a tour on wooded, snowy trails to view the sculptures in the Art Park. All levels of snowshoeing experience are welcome.

    Located on a 30-acre forest preserve in Benzie County, Michigan Legacy Art Park connects visitors to the surrounding natural world through the lens of contemporary art. The Art Park embraces the beauty of the winter season, remaining open to the public every day of the year.

    The tour lasts 1.5 hours and is free with $5 adult admission (complimentary for youth). Cash or credit card is accepted. The tour dates are: Saturday, January 15th, Saturday, February 19th, and Saturday, March 12th, all starting at 10:00 AM.

    To attend the tour, meet at the Art Park trailhead at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 15th. Be prepared for current weather conditions. Snowshoes are not provided, but snowshoe rentals may be available from Crystal Mountain. To rent snowshoes, please call (231) 378-2000, extension 7000. If there is no snow, it will be a hike.
