Join baker, bread nerd, and wine geek Martin Sorge to learn more about the art and science of bread baking, the diversity of bread, how bread interacts with wine, and how to pair these two fermented wonders. Martin will pair Left Foot Charley wines with an array of breads, and you will leave with two exclusive bread recipes.
Martin Sorge is a home baker, writer, recipe developer, and winner of the Great American Baking Show. Martin is a regular contributor to Food & Wine, the Chicago Tribune, TRINK Magazine, and his first cookbook will be published in 2026. Martin recently received a certificate in German bread baking from the Akademie Deutsches Bäckerhandwerk in Weinheim, Germany. Martin also spent many years working at a winery and in wine sales and education, plus he’s been drinking Left Foot Charley since the first vintage.
