About
When pondering the theme for this exhibition, students and faculty at Interlochen Arts Academy wanted to start everyone on equal footing. They established a simple rubric: every participant would create something—anything—as long as it fit within an imaginary twelve-inch cube.
A simple prompt, but effective. What you see is the result of a department of creatives—students and teachers alike—who spend hours daily informing each other’s creative processes, ideas, and methods. They self-imposed this limit to discover what ideas those boundaries might produce.
