About
The Olympic and Sprint distance races start in the calm and clean waters of the East Arm Grand Traverse Bay. This looped swim gets your race started before you move onto leg #2: The Bike Course. Is swimming not for you? Try our Duathlon and enjoy the thrill of racing just the bike and run courses!

The Sprint and Olympic Bike courses run north of East Bay Park, utilizing the East Arm peninsula. Enjoy scenic orchards, vineyards, and coastlines along both sides of the East Arm. The bike course will prepare those legs for the final portion of the triathlon: The Run Course.

Complete your triathlon with an all-paved run course through Traverse City's neighborhoods and Northwestern Michigan College. Push yourself to the finish of the all-new Traverse City Triathlon!

This race delivers a beautiful and safe course, professional race management, and an incredible racing community - making this Northern Michigan's most memorable triathlon! We will see you at the start line.
- Overall: Overall awards will be given for top 3 overall male and female in the Sprint and Olympic Tri, and the Duathlon.
- An Overall award will be given to the top 1 relay team in each event (Sprint and Olympic Tri, and the Duathlon)
- Age Group: The top three finishers (male and female) in each age division for all events (Sprint and Olympic Tri, and the Duathlon) will win awards.
  - Age divisions are: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
Parking will be available at Northwestern Michigan's College Campus. Please use Parking Lots: Maple & Cherry for participant parking. Please allow yourself an extra 10-15 minutes to walk from the parking lots to the Start/Finish Line.
