Traverse City Food & Wine: Forest to Fork: A Springtime Gathering

As we continue building momentum toward this year's Traverse City Food & Wine in August, we’re excited to invite you to participate in Forest to Fork: A Springtime Gathering, taking place May 14–17 as part of the lead-up to Traverse City Food & Wine.

This long weekend will be similar in spirit to our Valentine’s activation, The Cheesiest Valentine, where many of you hosted creative, themed experiences. For Forest to Fork, we’re hoping to highlight foraging and the flavors of spring: the ingredients, stories, and bounty that make this time of year in our region so special.

We’d love for you to submit ideas for events you might host during the weekend.

    Some things to consider:

    • Foraging experiences or guided hikes with an expert

    • Dinners or tastings featuring spring ingredients (wild mushrooms, ramps, early harvests, etc.)

    • Chef collaborations or multi-partner events

    • Cooking classes, demonstrations, and workshops

    • Beverage pairings that celebrate the season

As with our other activities, TCT will help promote these experiences and support ticketing, and we’re happy to be a thought partner if you’d like to talk through ideas.
