The Old Town Playhouse presents THE BELLE OF AMHERST. In this absorbing and moving play about Emily Dickinson, the reclusive nineteenth-century poet’s diaries, letters, and poems are woven into an illuminating portrait of this prolific wordsmith. Her encounters with close friends and family, and her often-amusing observations come to life in this one-woman play.
