About
This exhibit illustrates the stories of the ships, steamers, and crews lost in the Manitou Passage, the waters that surround the Leelanau Peninsula and its islands. The passage is considered to be one of the most dangerous waterways in the Great Lakes. Go beneath the waves and see the work of divers and archeologists who share a view of the past.
