Join us for a free guided walk led by a Grand Traverse Conservation District staff member and learn about environmental topics and various project happening on our managed parklands. Each week, a different area will be explored.
Here's the schedule:
Saturday, August 14th: Hike the Natural Education Reserve while learning about agriculture and its relationship with watersheds, natural resources, and climate.
Saturday, September 11th: Hike the Natural Education Reserve while learning about the natural world in Northern Michigan.
Saturday, October 23rd: Hike the Natural Education Reserve with an Invasive Species Network Outreach specialist while learning about plants and wildlife in autumn and watch a seed-saving demo in the Nature Center Gardens.
