About

Each year on the first Saturday in June, Americans of all ages and abilities are invited to find their own adventure on one of the thousands of hiking trails in the United States. It's the only nationally-coordinated event designed to unite all muscle-powered trail activities with the goal of connecting people with trails and nature.

Trails abound in the Traverse City area and, if you don't already have a favorite, stop by the Visitor Center at Traverse City Tourism (located at 101 W. Grandview Parkway, Traverse City) to peruse a trails map or contact the Visitor Center at 947-1120 for a few suggestions.
