In our busy world, forms of mindfulness are not used as a spiritual practice but as mind-training techniques to help us focus our attention/awareness to be happier, more productive and compassionate. Research confirms that these practices can help us slow down and flourish in a multitasking and multimedia culture. Kristy McDonald has been practicing meditation for over 15 years. She traveled to Thailand in 2015 on a sabbatical for three months to learn new mindfulness, meditation and body-mind connection techniques. Join her to learn about some of the research on mindfulness, how to incorporate mindfulness into your life and how to create a personal mindfulness practice.
