The 29th Annual Michigander Bicycle Tour, Tour the Two Peninsulas, will take place July 13th - 18th along the beautiful Lake Michigan shoreline in northwestern Michigan. This tour showcases Traverse City, Old Mission Peninsula, Suttons Bay, Frankfort, Glen Arbor, and Crystal Mountain. Riders will enjoy picturesque views of Lake Michigan as they travel along the Leelanau Trail, Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail, and Betsie Valley Trail.
Leelanau County is known as the Land of Delight, for its beautiful protected lands, waterways, and coastlines. The featured Leelanau Trail travels from Traverse City to Suttons Bay. The tour also features the Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail, which extends from Empire to Glen Arbor, and the Betsie Valley Trail, which connects Frankfort and Thompsonville.
The tour offers a choice between a one to six-day ride. All routes are paved with a combination of road and trail.
