Work on your clay skills and learn some new techniques while working at home with support from Glen Arbor Arts Center resident potter, John Huston. Clay will be provided. Tools will be available to borrow. Glazing and firing will be scheduled at specific times.
A number of limited contact procedures have been added to the Open Pottery Studio including scheduled pick-ups and drop-offs of tools and materials, and an online show of work created in the Open Pottery Studio. Masks are required while at Thoreson Farm, a historic farmstead located in the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. For more details, please contact John at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Glen Arbor Arts Center resumes open studio ceramics for adults at Thoreson Farm on Wednesdays from 1:00 - 5:00 PM and Thursdays from 4:00 - 8:00 PM. Enrollment is now open for open studio sessions from Wednesday, July 22nd to Thursday, October 29th. The cost is $100 per person.
