    We’re keeping the lights on a little longer on Friday nights this summer during Late Night Fridays.

     

    On June 9: An opening reception for Members Create, an exhibition of work by 49 GAAC members. Painting, mixed media, sculpture, clay and more in the GAAC Main Gallery. 5-8 pm. Also on view: The Birds Are Watching, mixed media constructions by Jessica Kovan, in the Lobby Gallery. FREE.

     

    Late Night Fridays continues June 16 with a front porch concert featuring the PULSE Saxophone Quartet, 7 – 8 pm. This unique chamber ensemble is the GAAC’s 2023 Musicians-in-Residence, part of the Manitou Music Series. Bring a chair. The concert is free

     

    June 23, 30, July 14, 21, 28 Join us for an after-hours gallery visit from 5 – 8 pm. On view: 2023 Members Create, an exhibition of work by 49 GAAC members, in the Main Gallery; and The Birds Are Watching, mixed media constructions by Jessica Kovan, in the Lobby Gallery. FREE.

     

    On Friday, July 7: A front porch concert with the B-Side Growlers, 5 pm.

     

    On Friday, August 18: An opening reception for In Translation, an exhibition of work exploring how visual artists translate the world and its events through painting, mixed media, sculpture, clay, fiber, and more.

     

    Friday, August 25. In the GAAC’s Main Gallery, In Translation, exploring the many ways visual artists translate the world and its events. In the Lobby Gallery: The Birds Are Watching, mixed media constructions by Jessica Kovan. Painting, mixed media, sculpture, clay, fiber, and more. 5-8 pm. FREE. Open to all.
