JOY Market: A Holiday Pop-Up Brings Creativity and Community to Traverse City

Traverse City, MI — November 15, 2025 — Kick off the holiday season with artfulness, inspiration, and community connection at the JOY Market: A Holiday Pop-Up, presented by Joy Art Collective at KPO Creative Studios, 607 Randolph Street, Suite 102, Traverse City. The event takes place Saturday, November 15, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

The JOY Market will feature a curated selection of local women artists, designers, and makers offering handmade art, gifts, and creative goods perfect for the holiday season. Visitors can shop unique pieces, meet the artists, and experience the warmth of Traverse City’s thriving creative community.

At 12:30 PM, attendees will enjoy an inspiring talk by Soon Hagerty, founder of the Boundless Futures Foundation, sharing her story and insights on giving back and empowering women entrepreneurs.

The Joy Art Collective—founded by Heather Harrington, Kristy Kurjan, Liz Ledtke, Katie Stults, and Lisa Wiberg—is a community of women artists and entrepreneurs celebrating creativity, connection, and joy. In addition to the founding members, the JOY Market will include several guest makers and local creatives showcasing original art, jewelry, ceramics, textiles, paper goods, and more.

“This event is all about celebrating creativity and connection,” said Kristy Kurjan, founder of KPO Creative Studios. “We want people to come, shop small, support local artists, and leave feeling inspired.”
