Today, the Samels Farmstead stands fully equipped and
preserved on the site, and it has become an education
center that demonstrates how the same fields and forest
sustained the Samels Family for the last 100+ years.
During our Harvest Gathering
all the buildings will be open, and there will be demonstrations of various farm activities. There will be food available, music, wagon rides, tours of the woods, archaeological exhibits/lectures, and games.
