DATE NIGHT: A Taste of France, Chicken Cordon Bleu

Let's take a trip to France and make this classic and elegant dish that is always a favorite with everyone, Chicken Cordon Bleu with Parmesan Peppercorn Sauce.

This is that one recipe that you can pull out any time you need to make a nice meal for guests, but it is also one that will be in your weeknight rotation just as easily. You will learn how to butterfly a chicken breast and how to make the perfect roulade with a crispy coating. I love serving this sliced into wheels and fanned out on the plate over a side starch. This will be served over a bed of angel hair pasta. The sauce will turn your noodles into a cheesy dish that goes perfectly with the chicken and ham.

For a starter we will be making THE BEST Butternut Squash Bisque with a crispy bacon garnish. We are doing this item in Instant Pots and I know you will want an Instant Pot after this if you don't already have one. If you do have one, you will surely be getting it out this fall and winter to make this soup many times!

For a fresh side, meet your fall and winter holiday salad...shaved brussels sprout salad with apples, walnuts and parmesan with a zippy apple honey dressing. Make it for Thanksgiving and Christmas, it is perfectly seasonal for both holidays and everyone will want the recipe. I did this salad for a private group last year, and they totally licked the bowl clean, it will surprise you with how delicious the flavors are!

Adults 18+, maximum group size capped at parties of 4 please, capacity 16 students. Wine and beer will be available in class, cash or charge, outside beverages of any kind are not allowed due to liquor license laws. Arrive to class 15-30 minutes early to do your pre class prep list, and class will begin at 5:30pm sharp.
