ABOUT THE CARE-O-VAN PROGRAM
Bridging the Parent-Child relationship through film, Collective Self Cinema aims to help little and big humans understand themselves and each other better, to enhance a family’s felt sense of connectivity and love.
Families are invited to take a deeper dive into the therapeutic themes presented within each film, by registering to participate in follow-up psychoeducational and expressive arts programming intended to nurture a child’s self awareness and expression, as well as support a parent’s reflective capacity of their own experiences in order to gain insights into their child’s emotional world.
Through the partnership between Care-O-Van PLLC, The Dennos Museum Center, and TearwaterT, the Heronry Film Project is offering families to come together and delight in these cinematic events with choices:
1.) Come to enjoy the film (tickets purchased through the Dennos Museum)
2.) Come to enjoy the film AND participate in follow-up experiential programming purposefully designed to offer specifically varied psychoeducational content and expressive arts activities per film (follow-up programming registration required separately).
