Celebrating 10 Years of Youth Art

This milestone coincides with another cherished tradition—the 10th Annual Youth Art Exhibition, a vibrant showcase of artwork from K-12 students and educators throughout the Grand Traverse region that will be on view March 11 through April 5.

This beloved spring tradition fills the gallery walls with an explosion of color, imagination, and artistic expression. This year’s milestone exhibition features artwork from more than 40 schools, celebrating the incredible talent of local students and the dedication of art educators who inspire them.

Join us for the Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony on Sunday, March 16, from 1:00 - 3:00 pm, with awards announced at 1:30 pm. 

Looking Forward to the Next 10

As CTAC embarks on its next decade, the organization is focused on expanding its programming and community partnerships to further enrich the region’s arts landscape. One of the highlights of the anniversary year campaign is 10 Fold, an upcoming exhibition inviting artists of all disciplines to explore “TEN” as a concept, symbol, and inspiration—beyond just a number—through time, structure, storytelling, challenge, and personal reflection. Artists interested in participating can apply by March 9, 2025.

The anniversary celebrations will continue throughout the year with talks, workshops, giveaways, and community gatherings, culminating in a fall fundraiser dedicated to supporting the future of the arts in Northern Michigan.
