Biodynamic Farming from Ground to Glass

-
About
Biodynamic gardening/farming is more than a method; it’s a philosophy that treats a property as a self-sustaining ecosystem.
From pruning to harvesting, the biodynamic calendar controls the growing practices. The goal is to create a system that is minimally dependent on imported materials and instead meets its needs from the living dynamics of the property itself. The garden/farm is organized so that the waste of one part becomes the energy for another, which increases the land’s capacity for self-renewal and sustainability.
In this classroom-based course you will learn the four tenets critical to biodynamic growing – biodiversity, compost/cover crops, observation and biodynamic preparations.
