3rd Annual Holiday Book Fair

Book enthusiasts are invited to join several Northern Michigan authors for the third annual Holiday Book Fair on Sunday, December 8th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Mercato at the Village of Grand Traverse Commons, Traverse City. Presented by local writers' group Traverse City Authors, the event is free and open to the public. 

Highlights of the event include 12 booths featuring the works of regional authors, along with live music by author and musician Bob Downes. Authors will provide 10-minute presentations that may include readings from their books or topics of their choice. Food and beverages – alcoholic and non-alcoholic – will be available for purchase throughout the Mercato.

Participating authors include Tom Carr, Scott J. Couturier, Bob Downes, Tricia Frey, Cindy Hull, Shayne Keen, Leslie Lee, Dzidra Minka, Debra Payne, Karen Rieser, Joshua Veith, Debbie Watson, and John Wemlinger. Signed copies of all books will be available for purchase. 

The members of Traverse City Authors meet monthly to discuss their craft and provide support to one another. Area writers interested in joining are encouraged to attend the book fair for more information, or drop by an upcoming gathering, occurring the second Tuesday of each month at 5 p.m. at Minerva's in the Park Place Hotel, Traverse City.
