2017 Paddle Antrim Festival – September 15
This festival includes a two-day kayak event through the Chain of Lakes of Antrim County. This choose your own adventure paddle provides the opportunity for you to paddle one or both days and decide how far to travel.
Join in the fall fun at Flintfields Horse Park during the annual Acme Fall Festival! This is a full day of fall fun -- great for every age.
The 4th Annual Leelanau Uncaged event is one you don’t want to miss! Downtown Northport closes its streets from 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM to host dozens of musical performers, dancers, artists and food artisans. Fun for the whole family.
The NHL Prospect Tournament returns to Traverse City for the 19th season, running from Friday, Sept. 8 through Tuesday, Sept. 12. The eight-team field consists of prospects from the Red Wings, the defending-champion Carolina Hurricanes, Chicago Blackhawks, Columbus Blue Jackets, Dallas Stars, Minnesota Wild, New York Rangers and St. Louis Blues.
This annual weekend features a spectacular race through Leelanau’s vineyards followed by a self-guided wine tour along the Leelanau Peninsula Wine Trail featuring world class wines and culinary delights that reflect the season’s bounty.
You don’t’ want to miss out on this 5K fun run and walk through Traverse City and along parts of Lake Michigan. Swag bags for participants will include glow-in-the-dark and reflective t-shirts and other fun goodies.

Arts & Culture
The Downtown Art Walk is a local favorite and will showcase art exhibits throughout Downtown Traverse City. The public is invited to enjoy an evening of art, refreshments, food and music on a self-guided tour throughout Downtown Traverse City.
Head over to the City Opera House for an evening with Melissa Block. Block, who has earned many of broadcast journalism’s top honors, was host of NPR’s All Things Considered from 2003 to 2015.
