Leelanau Wine Cellars, with its tasting room on a hillside overlooking West Grand Traverse Bay, offers a full line of vinifera, hybrid and fruit wines, tours and tastings. Among the awards received by Leelanau Wine Cellars are three bronzes, a silver and a gold medal (for 2002 Chardonnay Grand Reserve) at the Michigan State Fair. Its barrel-fermented Chardonnays, popular season wines, Vis-A-Vis blends and fruit wines ranging from Pear Nectar to Raspberry Port represent the quality and variety found at Leelanau Wine Cellars. Hours are as follows. May: Mon-Thur 10-4 Fri & Sat 10-6 Sun 12-5. June-August: Mon-Sat 10-6 Sun 12-5. Sept-Oct: Mon-Thur 10-4 Fri & Sat 10-6 Sun 12-5. Nov-April: Mon-Thur 10-4 Fri & Sat 10-5 Sun 12-4.
