In need of a physician? The Physician Referral Service at (800) 553-5520 or (231) 935-6507 will connect you with a doctor of the right specialty, who is taking patients. All of this is free of charge.

Munson Medical Center in Traverse City is a major medical facility providing emergency and surgical services. The staff includes 300 physicians representing 35 specialties. Munson also provides an emergency transport service that includes EMT vehicles and a helicopter used for less accessible places or special situations. The hospital staffs three sites for walk-in services.
